Baseball Splits Against Chestnut Hill

Lyndhurst, NJ - The Golden Falcons extended their winning streak to five games with a 13-6 victory over Chestnut Hill but fell 8-3 in Game Two, despite taking an early lead with a three-run homer.

Game One

The Golden Falcons extended their winning streak to five games with a dominant 13-6 victory over Chestnut Hill. Felician's offense was on full display, racking up 18 hits, including five extra-base hits, and driving in all 13 runs at the plate. The team also showcased speed on the bases with four stolen bags. After briefly falling behind in the third inning, the Golden Falcons responded immediately, reclaiming the lead in the bottom half and maintaining control for the rest of the game. Their disciplined approach at the plate led to just two strikeouts as a team. On the mound, the pitching staff combined for four strikeouts while allowing 10 hits and six runs (five earned). Key contributors included Luis DeLaCruz, who went 2-for-6 with a two-run homer and a double; Jaxson Wall, who finished 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored; Chris Corchado, who delivered three RBIs, two stolen bases, and two runs in a 3-for-4 performance; Rocko Brzezniak, who added three hits, an RBI, and a stolen base; and Haiden Walters, who went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.

Game Two

In Game Two, the Golden Falcons were unable to maintain their momentum, falling to Chestnut Hill 8-3. Despite Felician striking first with a three-run home run in the bottom of the third, the Griffins responded and took control of the game. Offensively, the Golden Falcons managed six hits but struggled to find gaps in the defense. Luis DeLaCruz provided a highlight with his second home run of the day, temporarily giving Felician the lead. Jaxson Wall led the team with a 2-for-4 performance, adding a run scored and a stolen base. DeLaCruz finished 1-for-3 with his three-run blast, a walk, and a stolen base. Haiden Walters also contributed with a hit and a stolen base. On the mound, Logan Waltz delivered a solid start, pitching five innings while allowing three runs on five hits and striking out four.
