Lyndhurst, NJ - Felician wrapped up the regular season in dominant fashion, sweeping No. 24 ranked Goldey-Beacom with 10–5 and 3–2 victories on April 30. With the wins, the Golden Falcons improved to 34–16 overall and 28–8 in CACC play, securing the No. 2 seed in the upcoming conference tournament.
Game One
Felician rode a third-inning offensive explosion and steady bullpen work to a 10–5 victory over Goldey-Beacom in Game 1 of a key CACC doubleheader on April 30, 2025. After a scoreless start, the Golden Falcons erupted for nine runs in the bottom of the third, seizing momentum and never relinquishing it.
Jaxson Wall led the offensive charge, going 2-for-5 with a double, a three-run home run, and four RBIs, providing a critical spark in the heart of the lineup.
Chris Corchado and
Luis DeLaCruz each added an RBI, with DeLaCruz also drawing a walk and managing the pitching staff effectively from behind the plate. On the mound, starter
Johnny Gilligan surrendered four runs, with three earned runs over three innings, as he earned his fourth win of the season.
Bryan Rios was first in relief, tossing two innings allowing one run to cross. Earning his second save, was
Andrew Gendi, who tossed a hitless 4.0 innings. The team totaled nine hits, five walks, and two hit-by-pitches, while also turning a double play defensively. Despite three errors, Felician limited the damage and held Goldey-Beacom to just one run over the final six innings.
Game Two
The Golden Falcons came out aggressive, scoring two runs in the first inning behind a double from H. Walters and RBI hits from
Jaxson Wall and
Chris Corchado. After Goldey-Beacom trimmed the lead to one in the fifth, Corchado responded again with a clutch RBI single to provide what proved to be the game-winning run. Wall finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored, while Corchado also went 2-for-3, driving in two. On the mound,
Kyle Bednarski earned his fifth win of the season, tossing 4.1 innings of three-hit ball, allowing just one earned run while striking out four.
Gavin Enright closed it out with 2.2 scoreless innings, surrendering only two hits and striking out two. Felician totaled six hits, including two doubles, and played solid defense with just one error and a double play turned. The victory completed a doubleheader sweep and continued the Golden Falcons' strong momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
