Madison, NJ - Felician University secured a decisive 14-5 victory over conference rival Post University, followed by a hard-fought 10-9 win that propelled them to the CACC Championship weekend in Delaware. The opening game showcased Felician's dominance with a commanding blowout, while the second game proved to be a thrilling, tightly contested battle that was decided in the final moments. With these victories, the Golden Falcons achieved a historic milestone, setting a new single-season program record with 36 wins.

Game One

Felician University began their CACC playoff journey with a commanding 14-5 victory over Post University, delivering a performance that highlighted their offensive prowess and pitching depth. The Golden Falcons were unstoppable at the plate, going 18-for-38 as a team, with three doubles and an electrifying inside-the-park grand slam by Jaxson Wall that energized their dugout. They showcased speed and aggression with three stolen bases and displayed remarkable discipline by drawing eight walks, an effort that allowed them to score 13 of their 14 runs via RBIs. The game was defined by key moments, starting with Felician getting on the board in the second inning before exploding for seven runs in the third, a decisive frame that gave them control. They continued their offensive onslaught in the fourth inning with a timely double that brought in two more runs and added insurance runs in the fifth and sixth innings, extending their lead to an insurmountable ten runs going into the final frame. The standout individual performances included Wall, who had yet another stellar game by going 4-for-6 with an inside-the-park grand slam, four RBIs, and a stolen base, and Haiden Walters, who matched Wall's consistency with a 4-for-6 effort, contributing a double, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Bryan Santana and Matthew Scrivanic also delivered clutch performances, combining for four hits, five RBIs, and three runs scored. On the mound, Max Weber picked up his ninth win of the season with a steady five-inning start, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out six, and Jackson Walsh sealed the victory with four innings of relief, giving up just three hits and one run while adding three strikeouts. Game Two of the CACC Playoffs was a thrilling contest that saw Felician University edge out Post University with a narrow 10-9 victory, earning the Golden Falcons a spot in the CACC Championship weekend in Delaware. Offensively, the team delivered a strong performance, going 14-for-35 at the plate, including five doubles, two home runs, and a stolen base. Impressively, all ten runs were driven in, showcasing the team's clutch hitting. The game was packed with dramatic moments. Post struck first with a home run in the opening frame, but Felician responded immediately, tying the game at two in the bottom of the first inning. The Golden Falcons demonstrated resilience, answering each time Post scored. A pivotal moment came in the sixth inning when Christian Bauman launched a go-ahead home run, followed by Anthony Lamar driving in an additional run to extend the lead. Bauman wasn't finished, stepping up in the seventh inning to crush a monumental three-run home run. The game reached its climax in the ninth inning with Post threatening to tie the game. However, Matthew Scrivanic came through with an acrobatic defensive play to rob Post of a base hit and seal the victory for Felician. Several players stood out in this high-stakes contest. Jaxson Wall went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base. Andrew DeAngelis contributed two doubles in a 2-for-4 performance, scoring one run.
